  • Florence, sleep in Florence

    A day in Florence, home to museums, art galleries and culture. Take a ride through the city streets and soak in the marvelous architecture of the buildings and monuments that surround you. Some places you shouldn't miss are Galleria degli Uffizi, Galleria dell'Accademia, Il Duomo, Piazza della Santa Croce, Piazza del Palazzo Vecchio, Giardini Boboli and the famous Pontevecchio.
    In the evening, have a nice stroll and feel the animated ambient of Florence's night life with locals and tourists, a multicultural blend of people looking for the same, a taste of the superb local cuisine and the peace and magic of a place full of history...
    Afterwards, relax in your charming room, have a nice hot shower and a good night's rest before your tour starts...

  • From Florence to Panzano, sleep in Panzano

    You will leave Florence from the south bank of the Arno river, up to Piazzale Michelangelo to admire the majestic panoramic views over the City. A last view and farewell to this amazing Reinassance city before you take the local Chiantigiana road that will take you to Panzano in Chianti passing through the small fortified village of Greve. It will be a ride of nearly 39 km with ascents and descents through the most renowed vineyards of the Chianti area and will take you about 4 hrs. The terrain is paved.

  • Panzano to Gaiole, sleep in Gaiole

    Leaving Panzano by the Chiantigiana local road, you will be moving south along the Chianti Classico area through tracks and roads, you'll be visiting the villages of Radda in Chianti and Castellina in Chianti, both worth visiting, until you reach the village of Gaiole in Chianti where you will stop and overnight. It will be a ride of nearly 39 km with ascents and descents, the beautiful landscape of vineyards, Olive groves and medieval castles will be your travel companion all the way long. It will you about 4 hrs.
    There are 2 options for this route, option one is all paved. Option 2 is partially unpaved.

  • Gaiole to Siena, sleep in Siena

    You will leave Gaiole and continue the journey crossing the Chianti Classivo vineyards and cellars towards the medieval Siena, on your way, you'll be partially riding through the route of the historic bike race known as l'Eroica, the importance of this race in Tuscany is enormous, it was born to protect the territory of Tuscany and its unspoiled local, paved and unpaved roads.
    One stop at Castello di Brolio, an impressive Chianti Castle with amazing views over the countryside, home of one of the most important Chianti wines, where you can taste or
    may buy a bottle or two !
    It will be a ride of nearly 31 km, along the route you will find a natural progression of gentle uphills and it will take you about 4 hrs.

  • Siena to Montalcino, sleep in Montalcino

    The journey from Siena to Montalcino will be a ride to the taste of the rural Tuscany, leaving Siena by the beautiful, panoramic road of Ville di Corsano, and all the way to Montalcino, you will find open landscapes of grain with changing colours, fields of sunflowers, farmhouses with production of local cheese and olive oil, passing through the medieval Radi, Murlo and Buonconvento until you arrive to the impressive Montalcino and its famous vineyards. It will be a ride of nearly 49 km along paths which are relatively flat, it will flow quite fluidly and will take you about 5 hrs.

  • Montalcino to Montepulciano, sleep in Montepulciano

    The special ride of today will last in your memories for ever and you will enjoy every second of it. From Montalcino all the way through Montepulciano, will be a delightful immersion in the Val D'Orcia, the impressive landscapes of this area inspired many artists with its medieval castles, rolling hills, avenues of cypresses leading to amazing villas and farmhouses, Abbeys, vineyards and olive groves. The extreme beauty of Val D'Orcia is now protected as natural and cultural park and recognized as World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
    The beautiful gems of San Quirico, Bagno Vignoni and Pienza will be your main stops.
    It will be a ride of nearly 35 km that will take you about 5 hrs and will consist of quiet roads, and open mountain riding across the most scenic landscape in Tuscany.

  • From Montepulciano to Chiusi or Siena

    Before you leave Montepulciano make sure you put the cherry on the top of your Bicycle Tour of Tuscany. After this long tour you will enjoy recovering your energy. With a glass of a good red "Nobile di Montepulciano" in your hand, take the pleasure of a hydromassage in the thermal waters, whose therapeutic and healing properties have been enjoyed since Roman times.
